Finally I was able to normalize my sleeping pattern after so many years of sleeping late, extremely late and not sleeping at all. I had to reset it by by not sleeping for 2 days and that takes a lot of willpower to do.
Then on the following days I had to restrict my caffeine intake. No caffeinated drinks after 6 PM and for me that takes a lot of discipline, especially nowadays in this age where almost every drink we have has caffeine. I also had to regulate my food intake, I cannot have those late night feasts. I have been doing this for 2 weeks now and it is starting to become a habit. Hopefully I can make this habit permanent by the end of the year.
